At BRG, we offer Hatha Vinyasa style, 4 kinds of yoga practice: 2 kinds of yoga in a regular room temperate, and 2 kinds of hot yoga in a heated studio setting. Props including mat, hot yoga towel, blocks and straps are used in each class.  

About Yoga

Yoga comes from ancient Hindu (India) means “union” or “connection” in Sanskrit. Hatha yoga is widely practiced in the West and it is a mind-body-spiritual connection exercise. Yoga practice we offer at BRG including breath works, warm up poses, a series of restful, calming or stretch poses performed in a specific order, simple meditation, relaxation and final touch of the class. 


What to Bring to Yoga Class


 

Please wear comfortable exercise and yoga clothing, no shoes and socks. You can bring your own yoga mat or borrow one from the front desk.

 

Yoga Memberships


 

Regular yoga and gentle yoga classes are included in all membership packages. Hot yoga, heated flow yoga, and aerial yoga classes are available through special memberships. Compare gym membership packages for more details.

 

Types of Yoga Classes

Gentle Yoga Classes

Gentle Yoga: 60 minutes’ class at70-75 F temperature. It is a perfect class for beginner, reduce stress, working with injury, limited mobility or who prefer a softer, gentler yoga approach. A series of calming poses, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses are performed in each practice. Poses including neck and shoulder rolls, seated cat and cow, staff pose, happy baby, stretches, savasana and final touch. 

Gentle yoga class includes 5% standing poses, 60% sitting poses, 20% prone poses, and 14% supine position poses. All levels are welcome, class benefits joint mobility, alignment and reduce stress. 

 

 

Yoga Classes

Yoga: 60 minutes’ class at 70-75 F temperature. It is a perfect class for beginner and intermediate yogi. Class includes a series of powerful and restful poses performed in a specific order. Such as cat and cow, sun salutation, tree pose, warrior III, triangle, bridges, stretches and final savasana. 

Yoga class includes 35% standing poses, 15% sitting poses, 35% prone poses, and 15% supine poses.  All levels are welcome, class benefits balance, mental acuity and reduce stress. 

 

 

Heated Flow Yoga

*Heated Flow: 60 minutes’ class at 90-95 F temperate, and 20% humidity. It is a perfect class for hot yoga beginner to practice and to step toes into the fun world of hot yoga. This class designed to help you make the transition from regular yoga practice to a hot yoga practice, will tone up your strength, build core muscles, weight loss, burn extra calories, practice proper alignments, and a quicker flow through more demanding yoga poses. 

Heated flow class includes 40% standing poses, 30% sitting poses, 20% prone poses and 10% supine poses. All levels are welcome, class benefits build energy, core strength and flexibility. (*Additional fees apply) 

 

 

Hot Yoga Classes

*Hot yoga: No more slow-mo yoga! Hot yoga is a 60 or 80 minutes’ class at 100-103 F temperate and 40% humidity. It is a fast-paced yoga sequences will systematically work the entire body, toning muscles, promoting weight loss, calorie burning, increasing overall vitality, emphasis on proper alignment, breath flow and precise movements leave you a purified body and soul.

Hot yoga class includes 50% standing poses, 10 % sitting poses, 25% prone poses and 15% supine poses. All levels are welcome, class benefits strength, balance and flexibility. (*Additional fees apply)
