Meet Caroline, one of our Yoga Instructors. Caroline has a Bachelors of Science in Special Education.
How did you start working here?
I began my career at BRG in the Kids Play Center, and I am now training to teach yoga classes.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I enjoy starting my day early by watching the sunrise and listening to nature. Most of my days I spend working with children through nannying, the Kids Play Center, and as a preschool teacher. At the end of my day I like to unwind with yoga.
What's a quick description of what you do?
I work to ensure a fun and safe environment for children while their parents are exercising.
What's your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is working in a gym environment where everyone is on
their own path to self improvement.
What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?
My favorite hobbies outside work are exercising and gardening.
What's one thing most people don't know about you?
One thing most people do not know about me is that I endured homelessness as a teenager which inevitably brought me to Missouri.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
If I were an animal I would be a farm cat because I would experience the adventures
of living on a farm, and the freedom of being a cat.
What advice would you give to someone looking for a job in your field?
The advice I would give to someone looking for a job in my field would be to always
remain patient and kind.
What's your personal philosophy when it comes to fitness?
My personal philosophy when it comes to fitness is do what makes me feel strong and

If you looked in my bag you might not be surprised, but you would probably find some
crumpled up receipts, a book and my water bottle.
What quality do you consider the most important for people to have to be successful at their job?
I believe the key to success in any environment is a positive attitude.
